russian studies

These drawings are a vital part of me learning to use drawing as i do today.

They are strictly academic studies, where i, through my teaching from Boris, try to grasp how to define volume. I could talk ages about what i learned with every single work here, so if you’re interested to hear more about that, look under contact…

I used primarily charcoal, sanding paper and knet over there. The portraits here are made with a mixture of compressed charcoal and pastel: Cretacolor’s NERO.
